The 10 Best Dropshipping Niches of 2024 + 90 More Ideas

The top 10 niches for dropshipping in 2024 have all been personally researched by me.  However, all of the product ideas have been generated by AI!

As explained in the top 10 niche video below, this is because, in 2024, I'm trying to "think outside the box" and brainstorm niche ideas that I haven't brainstormed myself in the past 10 years...

With AI, we can now "dig deeper" when brainstorming niches, providing opportunities in previously under-severed markets.

Top 10 Niches of 2024

2024: AI Generated Dropshipping Niches

Here are my Top 10 Best Dropshipping Niches in 2024:

As you will see in this list, leveraging AI for niche selection has enabled us to brainstorm unique product ideas and what I would consider previously "hidden" product ideas.

  1. 1
Pedicure Chairs: Not something I have personal experience with (hence why I didn't think of it myself).  AI gave me this niche idea when I asked for expensive products similar to massage tables.  My research shows this niche has an average price point of $2,500, plenty of demand with 22,000 average monthly searches, low competition, and they sell year-round, making it a perfect niche for 2024!
  2. 2
Manicure Tables: I asked AI to provide a list of expensive products similar to pedicure chairs, and it gave me manicure tables.  I researched this niche to find an average price point of $500 (not bad on a product that typically receives bulk orders), average monthly demand of 14,800, and low competition.
  3. 3
Ice Baths: I found this niche when looking for "expensive products people buy for their backyards".  I wasn't sure of how popular they are but my research found a whopping 201,000 average monthly searches, and an average price point of $3,100, making this a great niche for 2024.
  4. 4
Sensory Tables: The first time I heard of these was when AI gave me a list of expensive products purchased for classrooms.  I researched this niche to find an average price point of $250, an average monthly demand of 18,100, low competition, and 0 seasonality, making this niche easily earn its place in the top 10.
  5. 5
Optics & Scopes: Gun safes have always been a great dropshipping niche, but I wanted to find more high-ticket products that would appeal to the same market.  When researching this niche, I found an average price point of $760 (well above what I would have guessed) and an average monthly demand of 135,000.
  6. 6
Steam Tables: Yet another niche I wasn't aware of until asking AI to provide me with a "list of expensive products purchased by restaurants".  I first Googled them to see what they were, then went on with the research to find a high average price point of $1,700 and a substantial monthly demand of 40,500.
  7. 7
Murphy Beds: Bedframes and bedroom furniture are niches that typically come to mind when brainstorming, but remember, we're thinking outside the box in 2024.  I asked AI for more examples of expensive items people purchase for their bedrooms, and it came back with murphy beds.  Research shows an impressive average price point at $2,850 and a MASSIVE monthly demand of 450,000!  Who knew? (not me :p)
  8. 8
Lecterns & Podiums: This niche came from an AI prompt asking for a list of expensive items purchased for offices.  My initial thought was, "there's no way these things are expensive," but my research proved me wrong.  Average price point of $2,850, and average monthly demand of almost 500,000.
  9. 9
Steam Showers: Saunas have been on my niche list for a while, but I wanted to see if there were any similar "hidden" products that are related.  AI gave me steam showers, and I'm happy it did!  I found an average price point of $4,800 and an average monthly demand of 40,500.
  10. 10
Carports: These are examples of products I never saw growing up in Nassau County on Long Island and would have never thought of myself, but according to my research, I'm in the minority!  Research shows an average sale price of $3,900 and an average monthly demand of almost half a million people, making this a great niche to close out the top 10 niches for dropshipping in 2024.

2023: Recession Proof Drop Ship Niches

Top 10 Niches for 2023

The top products to dropship in 2023 did not change as drastically as it did a few years ago, but there are some notable changes that I'm going to discuss in last year's top 10 dropshipping niches of 2023.

The market and economy may be changing, but these profitable drop shipping niche ideas will absolutely still work far into the future.

Let’s get 2023 with Recession-Proof Niches. These are products that will sell regardless of what happens with the economy. We’re focusing on these because of these changes:

  • Increase in Inflation
  • Increase in credit card debt
  • Decrease in consumer spending
  • Decrease in personal savings

Here are my Top 10 Best Dropshipping Niches in 2023:

  1. 1
Nursery Room Furniture: Parents never skip on baby supplies. Drop ship in-demand cribs, dressers, art, shelving, and more supplies that babies will need. Parents will always spend money on their children.
  2. 2
Camping Gear: Families may choose to spend their vacations camping instead of going to expensive theme parks and vacation places. With this, you can sell camping equipment like tents, sleeping bags, pots and pans, and everything one would need when camping.
  3. 3
Automotive Parts: People have been recently spending money on cars, especially used cars. To attract this target market to your store, sell car replacement parts like springs, brake pads, carburetors, etc. They’re more likely to save money by buying replacements instead of buying new cars.
  4. 4
Power Washers: There are many instances of people losing jobs, getting pay cuts, no bonuses, etc. during a recession. To handle this, they will look for side hustles, like providing local cleaning services. You can help them by dropshipping high-quality power washers and gaining profit at the same time!
  5. 5
Alternative Energy: More people want to save energy to cut bills. You can drop ship portable and big solar panels and other energy-saving products that they can use to do so.
  6. 6
Hydroponics: There are less grocery bills and more fun when you invest in growing your own food. These products are good sells nowadays, especially since people are looking for things to do at home as well.
  7. 7
Pizza Ovens: Recession results in less dine outs. The upper middle class, our target, will look for ways to have fun with their family and have meal nights with them. Because of this, they will be inclined to cook meals and snacks more often. Try dropshipping ovens used for cooking one of the family favorites - pizza!
  8. 8
Bounce Houses: Making your home more fun is even more possible with these products! People, especially parents, are buying more of these inflatables to have fun with their families at home.
  9. 9
Telescopes: People with hobbies are willing to spend. At the same time, children love telescopes as well and so, parents tend to purchase them as gifts for their kids.
  10. 10
Adjustable Beds: Health is wealth and so, people will buy products that can help them with their health problems, like these adjustable beds.

2022: We Are Focusing on High Demand Niches!

Top 10 High Ticket Dropshipping Winners of 2022

Moving into 2022, we’re going for High Demand Niches. This is after finding out that customers with the ability to spend will continue buying products at higher prices but the total addressable market (TAM) may shrink.

If you’re a member of Drop Ship Lifestyle, you know that we perform a ‘Demand Test' where we aim to find at least 10,000 monthly searches for the niches we’re considering. But due to changes, we’ll now look for niches with an average monthly search (AKA Demand) of over 30,000.

With this new extreme criteria, you’ll still be able to sell to customers who’re resistant to the possibility of increasing prices. Just remember that for this niche, always follow what I’ve always mentioned, to have at least 20 suppliers for your product niches.

Here are my Top 10 Best Dropshipping Niches in 2022:

  1. Bedroom Furniture Sets: (Demand = 74,000, Supplier = >100)

    Hi Anton,

I’m new to this whole dropshipping thing so I attended your webinar. I unfortunately don’t have enough money for the blueprint. So I wanted to ask you some questions because I can’t get it. • Adele Arnesen says:

Can you share how to find your supplier list for porch swings?

    • Hi Adele, the main way is by reverse engineering our future competitor’s stores to see which brands they sell for. If you’re interested, I cover this in great detail in my Drop Ship Blueprint. You can learn more and get a special enrollment by registering for a free training I’m hosting at this link: Free Training From Drop Ship Lifestyle

  • Hi Anton, if I were to drop ship something big like pool tables, how would that work with shipping? Would it dramatically cut my margins? Also do people tend to buy pool tables online or do they go to showrooms?

    • Hi Bruno,

You would ship them via a white glove delivery service. The majority of the time this is arranged by the supplier(s) that you work with.

Regarding showrooms, the beauty of a niche like pool tables is that are so many styles and variations that many people turn to the internet to order exactly what they want.

      Hope that helps!
      Anton

    I really liked 2020 top10 3th about CNC machines.
It is great opportunity, I’ve had that idea while ago. But is there a possibility for big success? I think it’s quite small demand for that.

    • 100%! The beauty of this business model and with a niche like that is that you only need a few sales per day to equal huge revenue (and profit).

  • Been researching and note taking for a while now. Considering a Niche store with multiple products related to coffee and coffee lovers (brewers, reuseable kcups, etc), with a thought to eventually brand and possibly start own line of coffee. Seem legit?

  • Do you think selling commerical restaurant equipment online, with the shipping cost, is a good idea?

    • Hi JR,

I’ve never researched that niche, but I can say that the shipping cost isn’t a concern. We sell very large and heavy items all day with no issues.

If you’d like to learn more, I’d recommend you check out my next free training class.

  • Richard Chambliss says:

How can you have a semi- hands off business if you have a custom business? Seems a customized business would be 24/7 as for as customer service. Thank you for all you do.

    • Hi Richard,

We use different Shopify apps that allow our customers to customize products (when applicable), and then we use custom automations to forward these orders to our suppliers.

The reason I say “semi-automated” is because this is not always possible so human interaction is needed 🙂

  • Do you think selling lighting and chandeliers is still a good idea? What would be great side sales with these? Thanks for all you do.

    • Definitely! That’s a massive niche with hundreds (if not thousands) of quality suppliers.

  • Hi, Anton! Great post again, some food for new ideas. Anyway, I would like yo ask you as a dropshipper with huge experience, which niches are with the most profit margins? I am thinking of getting into the specialty home furniture niche, but not sure whether enough margins… Thank you in advance.
    Best regards,
    Valeri

  • Thanks for the tips. I want to ask will cat tower niche work? and stuffs based on this niche like cat merchandises?

  • Hello Anton would you say that is a good idea to have a variety store products like in my case i have pet products, jewelry and accessories, electronics and hime improvement products or is it better to just focus on one niche i have only made teo sales in one week

  • Doris Thomas says:

    Thank you, that was brilliant.

  • Patrick Hurd says:

Hey Anton I was just in your live webinar today would you say home spa products like home saunas could be a good niche or would the market be to small?

    • Hi Patrick,

I hope you enjoyed the webinar!

I have never researched dropshpping home saunas or home spa products, but if you put them through the tests I share in my free training and they pass, you should be good to go!

  • Really helpful Anton! Thank you.

When you say on average, you will make 20% profit margin on drop shipping products, is that including all expenses considered (ads, shipping, cost of good, website domain and shop etc..)?

  • Would selling vehicle tires be a good Niche? I was thinking of using NTB, also other items for vehicle maintenance such as batteries, filters, belts, oil changes,

    • Hi Dennis,

It’s worth researching, but I’d assume there are a few brands that dominate the tire industry. However, they may be opportunity within the other niches you mentioned.

If you’re a member of Drop Ship Lifestyle be sure to go through Modules 2 and 4.

If you’re not a member, be sure to check out my free training.

      Hope that helps!

  • Thank you very helpful for. I am planning to start a store on clothing niche. Can you give me any suggestion for that?

    Thanks in advance.

  • miguel tapia says:

hey Anton, thanks for all the value you share. is music instruments niche good in 2019?

    • Hey Miguel,

Like with almost any niche, competition occurs at the product level.

I’m sure there is a ton of opportunity in specific brands and products within the music instruments space.

Be sure to register for my next webinar to see how we gauge competition:

I’ll be on the webinar to answer questions so just let me know if you have any more.

      Thanks!

  • Hi Anton, first of all, I would like to thank you for this great article.
I’m looking forward to starting my first Shopify store and I’m doing so much research to find a good niche. I have been thinking of Coffee and Tea niche as I’m assuming this will have return customers monthly. What is your advice on this Niche?

    • You’re welcome, Raffi! If you’re going to get into that niche, just be sure to sell the more expensive items as well!

And if you’re serious about this, you should definitely check out my webinar! Here’s the link:

      Drop Ship Lifestyle Webinar

      Good luck!

  • Thank you for a great article, Anton
I think “wireless devices” or “smarthome” are interesting niches too, you guys should try it.

    • Hi Tinh,

I’m not a fan of selling most electronics. Too much customer service for a lifestyle businesses 🙂

      • Wow, what a Great Advice

  • Alexandros Karagiannis says:

    Hi Anton,

Love you content and I am big fan of your podcasts. I listen to them everyday while I commute to work (makes the train journey a learning time which is great).

I had a question around seasonality, you meantion not to choose a niche that is seasonal yet you picked Kite & Boating as a nich for 2019. Aren’t those considered seasonal? I liked at Google trends and would say 50% is up and 50% of the year to drops.

Again thank you for all the value you have given us. All the best with the new move and house!

    • I appreciate that, Alexandros!

Regarding seasonality and the niches listed, you’re correct there is variance on how they trend based on the time of year. However, I give examples of what seasonal charts look like in the Drop Ship Blueprint and the niches that are truly seasonal have much more extreme peaks and valleys than what you’ll see for kiteboarding and boating.

If you’re a member of Drop Ship Lifestyle you can checkout the Evergreen Test lesson in Module 2 of the Blueprint to see what I mean 🙂

      Hope that helps!
      Anton

  • Great article. I’m thinking of dropshipping Curley hair products – any thoughts? Also any thoughts on how to go about locating those suppliers. Any advice from you would mean the world to me as I am just starting out . Many thanks. All the best to you.

    • Thanks, Mo!

Regarding dropshipping those products, it really depends on how expensive they are and if shoppers in that industry have any brand loyalty.

My advice to you is to check out my next webinar where I dive deep into niche selection and how we validate our ideas:

Just let me know if you have any questions!

  • I like the idea of minimalist luggage, but would that be hard to find priducts that fit the price range you recommend? Also do you think home decor is oversaturated?

  • Hi Anton!
I have always been into aviation and want to become an aviator some day so I was wondering if there are some good aviation related niches you could suggest?

    • Hi Megan,

I don’t know that industry so I really can’t think of anything off of the top of my head besides RC planes and/or replacement parts/upgrades for small aircrafts.

My advice would be to go through Modules 1 and 2 of my Drop Ship Blueprint and then use your industry knowledge to find something great 🙂

  • Hi! What do you think about glitter trend? I’ve found that niche with glittering products can be profitable. But I still can’t choose what to sell…

    • Hi Ann,

That may be a niche that is trending… however, the price point is just too low.

To make any real money you would need thousands or tens of thousands of orders per month.

That’s just too much work for too little money.

I would recommend you keep searching 🙂

Check out my course and Done For You program if you’d like my help:

  • What do you think about essential oils as a niche?

    • I think they’re not expensive enough 🙂

Too hard to acquire customers profitably at that price point. Espeicallly when drop shipping.

If you’d like to learn more about how I pick products you should check out my webinar here:

  • I am thinking of a Dolls niche shop. all type of dolls, dolls clothes, dolls accessories… what do you think ?

    • The price sounds like it would be too low… however, I’ve never researched the niche before so I can’t say for certain. Are there products/bundles that sell for over $200?

  • Hi Anton,

Why is the focus regional. Why arent you encouraging your students to sell worldwide…why focus in the US if you reside in the US?

    • Hi Ali,

That is because most of the items we sell are large and heavy.

The cost of shipping them overseas is often greater than the cost of the products themselves so it just doesn’t make sense.

  • What are your thoughts on 3D printing supplies?

  • it’s just an awesome post regarding finding a profitable niche for blogging and affiliate marketing because find a niche is a very difficult task for the new blogger

  • I’m a little confused. I see pottery/ceramics as being a top niche but when I search “pottery” on google trends it seems to be a seasonable niche, which would be a no go for a first time store, correct?

    • Great question, Bill!

If you check trends for the past 5 years you will see that there are small spikes around the holiday season. However, I would not consider this seasonal. A trends report for a seasonal niche will show huge peaks and valleys each year (meaning next to no sales in the offseason).

You can search hammocks and check that chart for reference of a niche that is truly seasonal.

      Hope that helps!

  • Hi Anton,

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and research with us! It’s really very helpful for newbies to get the right niche idea from your niche list given.

  • Hi Sir,

    Very nice article.

Nowadays I am stuck between 2 niches.

    1. Men/Women (accessories, dresses, tops, belts, bags)
    2. Problem solution tools (kitchen problem solutions, bathroom problems, vehicle washing tools, gardening tools) etc.

    Can you help me out?

    Thanks!

    • Glad you got value from the post! My advice is to stay away from apparel. It has a very high return rate and it’s not worth your time when just starting out.

      • David Taylor says:

Low margins on belts plus a struggle on finding reliable suppliers.. I drop ship belts very slow sales on ebay not sure why

        • Hi David,

Without knowing much about your business, my advice would be to get off eBay on bringing your store and sales onto Shopify.

You can learn more about our selling system in my webinar here:

          Hope that helps!

  • Awesome material Anton, thanks!

    Karen Pineau

  • Wow, thanks for creating this! Can I ask, what type of restocking is there in restaurant equipment? I would think that equipment is ordered once and lasts years

    • Hi Rox,

Few ideas off the top of my head…

If you sold commercial deep fryers you could sell oil.

If you sold commercial blenders & drink machines you could sell glassware.

If you sold buffets you could sell food trays.

      Hope that helps!

  • Ponmanian says:

Awesome list but what is bio-hacking

    • Basically everything that Dave Asprey talks about. Things like float tanks and blue blocker glasses 🙂

  • Love this idea, it’s limitless and tests ones creativity in order to make a sustainable business. My whole life I feel as if I’ve been in the wrong job. I started as a carpenter, then I learnt the knowledge of London, becoming a black cab driver, which I’ve done for the past 15 years. I detest driving in London now days but can’t help feeling it’s a great way to get feedback. Anyhow always been a practical person and my computer skills are limited. I’m adaptable and very ambitious

  • You have covered different niches in different years. Thank you for sharing this list with us.

    • Anton Kraly says:

You’re welcome, Ankita. Happy to share 🙂

  • Anton,
do you have any smaller package deals?
Honestly, I really think your Done For You package is a great deal….

We do have our premium courses available outside of our Done For You package 🙂

  • Hi Anton, is orthopedic braces i.e neck, back, knee, wrist a good niche to get into? Would like to know your opinion

    • Anton Kraly says:

      Hi Honish,
I’ve never researched these niches so I cannot give you a concrete answer… a good first step would be to make sure they meet my niche selection criteria.
      Hope that helps!

  • is there any specific niche categories for Indian eCommerce bussiness.

  • Oula Daughlas says:

    Hi Anton
Good info, is it possible to dropship from kenya?

  • Sukhpreet says:

How to add product photos to our website?
When order is placed in our store How to transfer order to supplier?

    • Anton Kraly says:

      Hi Sukhpreet,
Add photos to Shopify is extremely easy… we show you how to do this in our Shopify Video Course but this part is also very simple to figure out on your own.
Regarding sending orders to suppliers, you could do this manually (via email) but if you’re a member of the Drop Ship Lifestyle Coaching Program then you have access to the Drop Ship Lifestyle Shopify app which will automate this for you 🙂
      Hope that helps!

    Hi Anton
Thanks for sharing these great niches with me.

  • Steve DeGayner says:

Anton, What do you think of Wine fridges for a good niche. Either that or Ecigs

    • Anton Kraly says:

eCigs would be a no go because it will be next to impossible to get (and keep) a merchant account in good standing.
Fridges could be good, but you’d have to do the research to confirm! I teach this in Module 2 of the Drop Ship Blueprint.

  • David Pham says:

Thanks for sharing, well come to Viet Nam Anton!

  • pls is possible to dropship from Nigeria in Africa? Thanks in advance

    • Anton Kraly says:

      Hi Nonso,
Your only problem would be getting a merchant account. However, you can use Stripe Atlas and that would work. Hope that helps!

  • Great information! Thanks for sharing 🙂

    • Anton Kraly says:

You’re welcome Kris! Glad to hear the niches are helpful to you!

  • Great niche ideas! Definitely worth analyzing and give a try.

    • Anton Kraly says:

Yeah buddy! On to the Market Research Phase 🙂

  • I would still like to come and apprentice with you, if you’re not overwhelmed and overstocked with prospects. I have some skills and knowledge, and I believe my biggest enemy is Fear !! Reason being is I’ve given some valiant efforts, with virtually no return. I owned my own website at one time and I currently have an ebay and amazon store. I was considering selling the MCA road service packages, so that is why I own most of the whymca domains. They want too much for the .com site. So if you’re interested, please contact me. I am a Round Rock Resident. Thanks, Chris

  • Anton Kraly says:

I’d love to hear what you think… it’s a 2.5 hour dropshipping webinar designed to help you drop ship profitably… all for free.

Be sure to click here to check it out and send me your feedback!
